Plant Manager
In your first year in plant management, you will learn basic design, inventory management, scheduling, quality control, service and cost management. You will travel with a Territory Manager meeting customers and understanding their needs. Your administrative training will include merchandising, nutrition and formulation, pricing and accounting.
As you demonstrate your ability, you will be assigned to a Plant Manager position, where you will use our management programs and financial measurements to improve performance. You will also develop budgets and impact district margin management and pricing. You may supervise up to 35 employees, and will be responsible for hiring, employee relations, plant design, maintenance and production programs, environmental affairs, planning and training.
Entry Level Positions We are looking for candidates with bachelor's degrees in any major, with preference to degrees in:
- Agriculture
- Business
- Feeding and Milling Science
- Technology
- Any major will be considered.
You must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and a strong interest in working in the agricultural community and in a processing plant environment.

Experienced Positions We are looking for motivated proven leaders with:
- 5 + years experience operating large commercial feed mills or groups of smaller mills
- a proven success record in quality customer service, facility management, people management and cost control
- a willingness to relocate at least regionally
