Before you feed:
· Feed by weight—not by volume.
· Weigh the feed in the container you will be using and subtract the weight of the container.
Feeding Instructions:
Feed as the sole ration according to the feeding chart below or as follows:
· Starter or starter/grower feeds may be used for the first 4 to 8 weeks. Very small birds may require that the product be ground into smaller particle size for easy consumption the first 7 to 10 days.
· Grower or grower/finisher feeds may be used following the first feeding period noted in the chart below.
· Breeder or layer feeds may be used at the onset of lay for birds used for egg production. Oyster shell or ground limestone must be fed at the onset of lay.
· Scratch grains may be fed as an energy source and are not a complete ration.

Consult your local veterinarian with any questions about medication and health care.
· Birds allowed to forage will consume less feed.
· Grit should be provided at 1 to 2 lbs. per 100 birds at least once per week.
· Oyster shell or ground limestone must be offered to laying birds.
· Dont let feeders run empty.
· Keep clean, fresh water available at all times.
· Day old and very young birds may require grinding of pellets or crumbles to appropriate size for consumption.
