· Birds allowed to forage will consume less feed.
· Dont let feeders run empty.
· Fresh clean water should be available to the birds at all times.
· Feed appropriate size grit at the rate of 1 lb. per 100 birds per week. Feed grit on one day per week.
· Switch layer pullets to NatureWiseTM Layer Feed and offer oyster shell at about 21 to 22 weeks or the onset of lay.
