I need to mention I also feed Nutrena Lite Balance to my Easy Keeper. He used to get another feed, but after researching I found Nutrena offers quality feed at a much better price. With the economy the way it is and I certainly don't want to cut back on my horses' nutrition, Nutrena gives me and my horses all we can ask for in quality and price. Thank you Nutrena!

My horse is now 23yrs. Recomended by my vet after finding that his teeth are worn. I put him on Nutrina Senior. He is processing all his feed and the last time I took him to the vet he thought he was about 14yrs. Thanks Nutrina.

I am sold on Nutrena SafeChoice and Senior, my horses have never been so calm and in the best of condition. I just put my best buddy, Jazz, down. He was 30 years old and had a variety of muscular problems, but when I took his blanket off, his coat was as healthy and shiney as a younsters. I will continue to use Nutrena SafeChoice cause its the right choice.

When I got my filly (now 8 months old), I wanted a feed that was both affordable, but safe for her to eat. Being a college kid paying for everything on my own, I didn't want the hassle of having to switch feeds while on a serious budget. I also wanted something palatable that my filly would love. Needless to say I started her on SafeChoice, the feed for all ages, and I must say I and my filly have fallen in love with it. Her coat looks AMAZING and she is growing so well!! Thanks Nutrena for a high quality food!!!

I put all my broodmares and my stallion on Safe Choice after having trouble for years keeping the weight and condition on them the way I wanted. I am happy to say that in less than a year they have all picked up and kept good condition and good attitudes. The picture is JT Sadik Sireff, Straight Egyptian Arabian stallion.

Topaz Ku is my 25 year old Arabian mare who is hard to get and keep weight. She has been a stakes race horse, an endurance ride winner and a broodmare. For the past year I have tried every type and brand of feed to get weight on her and the only success has been Nutrena Life Design Compete.

Dear Nutrena, I have a small AQHA reining breeding operation in Bryan, TX. I feed Life Design Mare and Foal and am extremely pleased with the results. My story is more about the cost savings with feeding Nutrena. I decided earlier this year that I could SAVE money by switching to a locally produced feed that is less expensive per bag. I found out quickly that I had to feed substantially MORE feed and the cost was almost triple. I quickly corrected my error and my babies and mamas are much happier and so is my pocketbook!

My mare was a thin body condition score even though she was fed a quality nationally known feed, twice daily. She didn't clean up all of her feed. After discussing this with my feed dealer, I changed to Safe Choice. This same mare is now a body condition score of a 5 and is fed 2.5lbs of Safe Choice twice daily along with orchard grass hay and pasture. She loves her feed and is always ready to eat and cleans up every bit!!

I was having trouble putting weight on my 4yr old off-the-track throughbred gelding. I tried weight gainers and increased his sweet feed which only increased his energy and did not provide the results I was looking for. My vet recommended Nutrena's Safe Choice feed and said it was less likely to cause colic, and now my horse is at less risk for colic and at a perfect weight and build, he just looks great.

Switched to Nutrena Senior for my 26 year old Quarter Horse gelding "Thunder" about 1 year ago. He is a picky eater / has sensitive joints / and has weight maintenance issues. Ever since I have been feeding him Nutrena Senior - he eats all his feed happily and best of all looks great and healthy!! Thank you for a great product that my buddy of 10 years enjoys and thrives on!! - Donna

My daughter Kelsey Draehn just started her show career. She is 8 years old and in the third grade. She and her AQHA filly Autumn Freckles just participated in their first show at the 141st Washington County Fair. Autumn was born and raised on Safe Choice. We were accused from the get go of pumping her with supplements and steriods. At 12 months she was 13.2 and 925 pounds. She was fed nothing but Safe Choice, the same thing I feed all my horses. Well, Autumn was placed as Grand Champion Filly and Reserve Grand Champion overall. We were very proud of both Kelsey and Autumn, even though Autumn slept thru most of the show. Thank you for making such a wonderful product and hopefully we can produce another champion on Safe Choice. Thank you, Brenda Draehn

I bought Nutrena, direct, when we lived in Illinois, and boarded 35 horses. Now we moved to Minnesota, with only our own horses. We feed Senior and SafeChoice. Safe choice has really done wonders for them. They are older, and the younger ones, its takes the edge off. No more sweet feed for me.

When Sonny was bought in April of 2009 he was underweight and out of shape. I tried another company's feed, and Sonny DID NOT like the feed. A friend recommended Triumph 10%. The extra fat content added weight and muscle without making Sonny "hot." My 9 year old barrel races, polebends, and goat ties on Sonny. Thanks to Triumph he has the body to match his heart! He is a true competitor!!! They are winning barrels, goats, and the all around!

Having tried numerous products to meet the high energy needs of my endurance horses, I have the most pleased with Empower. In a 50 mile endurance race a top athlete will burn more calories than most horses would burn in a week. Empower provides the right mixture of fat and protein to support and maintain the needs of endurance horses. It also provides the additional fat and calories that our horses need for our cold winter months in Northern Utah.

i was told by my feed dealer about SafeChoice, my horse was stolen and the one who stole her tried to kill her giving her 5 wormers within 5 days and my horse lost a bunch of weight. She was down to 400 pounds at 3 years old. She was a bag of bones, when i got her back thanks to the local sheriff's office, on top of her being skinny, it was hard to find hay for roughage, but i was told about SafeChoice, and used it as told by my distributer, and my horse made a remarkable turnaround. she is now pregnant, due in april, and is very healthy thanks to all your research and caring in equine study.

I use three different Nutrena bands. The Vitality 12% on my barrel paint Gelding, who does fantastic on it! my Trail Belgian Is on the Ultra. She was a bit thin when we bought her and within 1 month she was back to normal weight. our senior boarder gets Life Design Senior. hes about 30 and after 4 different senior feeds. here it is! the only one that just might give him a few more extra years. with no worries of weight problems anymore. thank you! And soon the filly will be introduced. I can have all my horses on the only brand worth my momey.

My horse is a barrel racer and game horse. She has been winning and placing all season. She really likes her grain. I never had any problems when I switched her to EnergX. She was eating Safechoice and in October I started EnergX. Thanks Bobbie

I bought my four-year old Belgian/Haflinger cross last year. He was a little underwieght when I got home, but he had just finished a growth spurt. I barely had a chance to put weight on him before the winter when he got sick and lost even more weight. Once he recovered I found Empower and began adding it to his diet. The results were amazing! Now, he is also on Safechoice and has gained about 200 pounds! He is shiny, barefoot, and happy. I recommend Empower to anyone who asks!

My retired show mare turned 24 this year, and her coat hasn't looked this deep and rich in color and shine since her show days. I thought her coat was dull due to age, but when the barn changed to SafeChoice three months ago, we have seen a huge difference in every horse in the stable. All have slick, glossy coats, and have dappled out. They didn't look like this last spring! My vet actually asked when I was going to show my mare this summer! She's 24, but looks (and acts) 12! Thank you for such a superior product.
