Nutrena congratulates Russell Dilday, named the 2008 NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman.

Russell Dilday, aboard stallion Topsails Rien Maker, claimed the title of 2008 World’s Greatest Horseman on February 24, 2008. Dilday feeds a combination of SafeChoice and Empower from Nutrena to the horses at his Texas facility. "Safe Choice is the right choice for Slider. It gives endurance to the body, not the mind," says Dilday.

The WGH competition is held each year in conjunction with the NRCHA’s Year-End World Horse Show Finals. The competition features four events: herd work, rein work, steer stopping, and fence work. Following the preliminary round, the top ten competitors and their most athletic, all-around horses compete in the finals for the title of World’s Greatest Horseman.
