Gretchen Mathes, of Powder Brook Farm in Harwinton, CT, was awarded the prestigious AQHA Professional Horsewoman of the Year for 2007. Mathes feeds a combination of Life Design Compete, XTN, and Legacy from Nutrena to the horses at her farm.

The Professional Horsewoman of the Year award is given each year to an American Quarter Horse professional who has worked toward the future of the industry and is selected by members of the Professional Horsemen’s Committee.
