See the appropriate chart on the bag for milk replacer liquid feeding directions.
When supplementing as a dry product for calves, foals and piglets, add 4 ounces of milk replacer to 1 pound of dry feed.
When supplementing as a dry product for lambs, goat kids, crias, fawns and elk calves, add 2 ounces of milk replacer to 1 pound of dry feed.
For best results, add the milk replacer to warm (120°F, 49°C) water and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk. Allow the liquid milk replacer solution to cool to about 95°F to 100°F (35°C to 38°C) before feeding. The enclosed cup holds approximately 4 ounces by weight (113 g) of dry milk replacer. Use a standard liquid kitchen measure for water.
* Remember: Individual animals vary in requirements. Adjust amounts according to the animal’s bodyweight, environmental conditions, appetite and your own good judgment. If you have questions about nutrition requirements, consult your veterinarian.
